How trading actually works

There is no auction house. Trades are player to player, arranged through an external trade site and completed in a shared instance.

The basic loop

1. Search the item you want on the official trade site
2. Send the generated whisper to the seller in game
3. Accept the party invite and travel to their hideout
4. Verify the trade window before confirming

Common mistakes

Anyone asking you to drop items first is scamming you. For larger amounts use the in game currency exchange — it settles at a posted rate and removes manual mistakes entirely.
